Poverty can be exacerbated by economic crises, poor understanding of the financial system, and predatory lending practices. All this can lead an individual to fall short on payments and damage their credit.
The Organization will help people get back on their feet through credit counseling and repair. We will provide advice to beneficiaries on how to mange money and create healthy financial habits, create and stick to a budget, and deal with creditors. Where possible, we can also work with credit reporting bureaus to help beneficiaries increase their credit scores.

The unexpected loss of a job can have devastating implications on a family. Although financial and other assistance may be necessary to ensure everyone has food on the table, it is not enough to restore a healthy and fulfilling life. Finding and securing a job is the first step to financial success.
We will work with beneficiaries to provide job search assistance and job placement. We will provide assistance on drafting resumes, submitting applications, and preparing for job interviews. We will also advise beneficiaries on possible training programs and career opportunities.

Losing a job can lead to a great deal of financial difficulty. The unemployment insurance system is a safety net that reduces the pain from job loss and allows the individual some time to get back on their feet. However, some community members do not understand or have the know how to obtain the assistance that they are entitled to.
The Organization will educate beneficiaries on their eligibility to receive unemployment insurance, as well as their rights and responsibilities when receiving benefits. We will also help beneficiaries who are eligible apply for unemployment insurance benefits, as well as provide any required evidence and answer any inquiry by governmental agencies.
