Youth & Education
Education is a cornerstone to being an active and productive member of a community. It takes center stage in the nurturing of our youth, expanding their horizons and opportunities for the future. Education it is also important for the community's adult population, as many in the target community do not have the language or technology skills needed to lead a successful life in the United States.

Academic success is a key aspiration communities hold for their children. However, school systems in minority and impoverished communities are often underfunded and understaffed - leading to the academic underperformance in these communities.
The Organization will supplement the local school systems through academic enrichment programs. This will consist mainly of tutoring activities that will give youth the attention and help they need to flourish in an academic environment.

The inability to speak English can be a hurdle for many immigrant families. It stifles their ability to find a job, educate themselves, and navigate the legal and social structures of our society.
The Organization will provide English as a Second Language (ESL) classes to immigrants that will allow them to become a better integrated part of their community. This will also help them in navigating legal structures, and pave their path towards naturalization.
